Despite growing environmental awareness, major eyewear manufacturers like Safilo and the industry at large have been slow to adopt sustainable practices due to perceived commercial unviability. Consumers also face challenges finding and choosing sustainable options due to limited information and high effort.

We created Folkal, the world’s first brand and e-commerce marketplace dedicated exclusively to eco-friendly glasses. We built everything from scratch, including the brand, visual identity, and website.
